    How does God deal with us humans? What plans does God have for this world? What does it mean to belong to the people of God? From Genesis 12, the story of God's plan to bring salvation to our world kicks off, giving us much needed clarity about who we are, what to expect from the God who always keeps his promises, and how Jesus both fulfils and enlarges God's promised blessings to us.

    The LORD's people have returned from exile, but instead of building his house, they have focused on their own. How will God's people respond to the word of his prophet Haggai, and what might God be saying to us today through his word?
